"Remember Me, Remember You" is as great as it gets and it's a song that deserves to be on any playlist on the planet...."- Alan Corr RTE GUIDE

Stephen M, Annie Tierney and Mark Dennehy are THE RADIO. With a musical heritage in some of Ireland's much loved indie bands, Rollerskate Skinny, Chicks and Johnny Pyro respectively, after a year of musical engagement the three decided to marry their musical ideas together and commit their unique sound to tape. Some of these early recordings found their way onto Alan McGee's influential BBC Radio 1 show which in turn garnered interest from all corners of the music industry.

Meanwhile, Reekus Records had offered to release the single "Remember me Remember you" and to everybody's delight all the radio stations loved and played the song to death.

With An appreciation of all things bright and beautiful the band entered the studio to begin sessions for the debut album, which eventually became ŒKindness‚. Overseen by the great Liam Mulvaney producer extraordinaire they found there was a method to their madness and they could musically explore to their hearts content.

While embracing analogue and digital sound respectively the band have achieved a very impressive debut, which will no doubt find its way into the hearts of the listener.

"Kindness" is released in Ireland on August 20th on Reekus, and already the album is creating quite a stir in music circles, being hailed by Hot Press among others as "the most accomplished, alchemic, and original debut in years".

Two boys one girl way below sea level, it’s all to play for. Minimal lighting situation? Maximum emotion. Blinded by midi signals turned on by the surround sound systems. Submerged in the watery mindset. Mind over matter. Strike while the irons hot. No TV cuts or radio blanks. The Artist's rights, personal tragedy and varied histories. Metal slide. Late nite taxicabs preying on the weakness of the ear. Imminent travel London, New York and Schull in Cork. Got to see the master four times god bless him. Even the man from Windsor played a part to the amusement of paradise Jim. the distant Italian relative the photographer and the sidekick blues lick. Sackville lounge lizards. Days spent thinking, nights spent drinking. From conception to birth. Composite composed, the stress of tracklists. The family and friends, human beings, being human. Loves lost love found but there's always THE RADIO

THE RADIO: Stephen M (Rollerskate Skinny), Annie Tierney (Chicks) and Mark Dennehy (Johnny Pyro), THE RADIO is preset to turn you on!
