A sharp blend of sophistication, melody, machines and pop sensibilities, The Human League will be delving into their extensive back catalogue to bring you an evening of music from a career that has spanned almost 3 decades.

The Human League, comprising Philip Oakey, Susan Anne Sulley and Joanne Catherall, have become synonymous with great music from their classic ‘Don’t You Want Me?’, taken from the cult album ‘Dare’ which also spawned the hit ‘Love Action’, to ‘Open Your Heart’ and 1995’s ‘Tell Me When’ taken from the critically acclaimed album ‘Octopus.’ The band, who have worked with Jam & Lewis, William Orbit and the man who is hailed as being instrumental in the rebirth of the band in the 90’s, Ian Stanley, were the greatest purveyors of electronic music but, as they have proven through their endless touring and more recent releases such as the critically acclaimed 2001 album ‘Secrets’, their music is still fresh and exciting. Their accolades are impressive; eight top ten singles including a UK and US number one with ‘Don’t You Want me?’, numerous platinum albums, sold out concerts at the Albert Hall, breathtaking performances on TV including countless TOTP appearances, V Graham Norton and a staggering comeback appearance on Later with Jools Holland, The Human League show no signs of stopping….
