“Fuzzing Away To A Whisper” is a collection of recordings resulting from four years of writing and producing by electro-pop guru Somadrone. Ranging from everything between electro-acoustic pieces to electronic pop music and everything beyond the realm of musical boundaries, "Fuzzing Away To A Whisper" is a brilliant snapshot of musical genius.

A limited edition CD version of the long out of print e.p "Let's Depart" is also included. Back 1997 the Dublin-based Somadrone began to document some home recordings on an old tape machine and 4-track recorder. By adding some additional electronic drum beats and keyboards to previous guitar sessions the 10" e.p. works had begun. Only 100 copies of the “Let’s Depart” e.p. was pressed on vinyl by Mango music in 2001, consisted of dirty 4-track ambient moog synthesizer recordings and electro-pop numbers. Initially selling out, the e.p. has become a long sought after recording and now for the first time is available on the CD format.

As live set was beginning to take shape with the addition of other instruments including vibraphone, viola & cello, Somadrone is now firmly established at the forefront of Europe’s Electronic and Experimental music scene; a musical experience not to be missed!

In recent years, Somadrone has also been involved with a number of other projects which included The Connect Four Orchestra, The Redneck Manifesto, Jape, & Goodtime John.

The recording is available from all good record stores or from our online store from October 21st, 2005 as a mail order CD or Digital Download on www.trustmeimathief.com
